If you use a property manager, we have two types of Landlord Insurance policies available. Our Landlord Preferred Policy covers those with permanent tenancies and our Scheer Short Stay Policy covers those with short-term rentals or holiday homes.

Why Landlord Insurance is important

Landlord Insurance covers you for tenant-related losses. Things like loss of rent due to a tenant breaking their lease or being evicted, or damage caused to your contents by tenants, like drink spills on carpets. Would be great if you could renew your insurance policy on line to receive the on line discount. Would be win/win for you (save on FTE cost) and for the customer (discount). I therefore paid for new insurance online to get the discount and have cancelled the old policy (which was past due but sitting in the 30 day grace period).

Other insurers I got a quote from ether did not cover this or had it as a expensive extra. So good job Terri Scheer, We have never made a claim so don't know how that part would go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from input user interface not good hello, i just signed up for an insurance with you. but it was very cumbersome as i am a resident currently living overseas w/o address in australia (except for the insured rented out property). so i had to give the address of my rental agent as my address as it's no use getting the documentation sent to my tenant. it would be useful if you would allow applicants to enter international addresses. also useful could be if other methods of payment would be accepted.
