The Scheer Short Stay Policy provides cover for the risks associated with owning a holiday or short term let property.
The claims process for the Scheer Short Stay Policy works very similarly to the Landlord Preferred Policy however some minor differences in the complexity of the claims make Scheer Short Stay claims even easier to compile.
The following documentation is required when submitting a claim:
- Completed claim form

- Evidence of the guests stay, including documented booking confirmation.
- Evidence of any deposit, security bond or booking fee obtained.
- Receipt of guests payment for stay.
- Details of any personal information obtained from the guest (so that we may recover from the guest).
- Copy of all invoices for deposit expenses.
- Copy of Entry and Exit Property Condition Report / Inventory if claiming damages/theft.
- Documented booking confirmation and deposits made by future guests.
- Copy of the Managing Agency Agreement.
- Invoices for property damage; eg. malicious damage, accidental etc.
