Representation Costs are claimable only if a Loss of Rent claim is being lodged

If we have accepted a Loss of Rent claim under the policy's specified loss of rent events, we will pay up to $500 in any one policy year for representation costs charged to the landlord by the Property Manager who represented the landlord in court for the purpose of obtaining a court order against the tenant.

This benefit only applies where the liability for this expense is specifically expressed in the Managing Agent Agreement between the landlord and the Real Estate Agent/Managing Agent.

The following documentation is required when submitting a claim:

    Ensure the back of the form is signed
  • Proof of Court Hearing
  • Invoice For Court Attendance
  • Management Agreement Showing Charges for Court Appearance
